The Weekend Post...

I honestly should change my blog name to "The WeekendPost". With working full time, a husband who is working two jobs and in grad school at night, taking care of our own home as well as apartments, blogging seems to just fall to the bottom of my infamous daily lists! And, I have not mentioned my most FAVORITE and most DEMANDING member of my life....little Gabe. Anyway, it is the quietest, most serene, beautiful Sunday morning...and with the definite risk of being repetative, my favorite morning of the week! Everyone is sleeping, I really should be in the shower, and instead, I have been sitting here staring at the birds in my bird feeder! They are so beautiful and they never sit still (reminds me of myself, most often). It is so cold and snowy, and they don't seem to mind...not a worry in the world. Sounds like a lesson we all could use...anyway my minds is pondering some deep thoughts on this morning-the brevity of life, destiny vs. choise, widsom vs. impulse, words vs. actions...and on and on. It is healthy to stop and ponder. Life is so fast, and before you know it, you are looking back instead of looking forward. A verse for the day...from Proverbs 14. "A wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands a foolish one tears hers down." So much to think about in that simple Proverb, and so much weight it holds on my shoulders.

Well, on a lighter note...Gabe seems to be thinking his job is to tear apart our house:) We have had such a fun weekend as a little family 'cause daddy got to be home all weekend! YEAH!

Mommy getting a little cuddle...but only for a second!

Playing with Da-Da.
